Louella Nelson

Best-selling author Louella Nelson is a professional writer’s editor and mentor, an award-winning writing instructor, and is multi-published in fiction and honored non-fiction. Many of Lou’s students are agented, published, and award-winners writing novels, memoirs, short stories, essays, and nonfiction books. She has been president of the Orange County Romance Writers of America and a coordinator of the national RWA conference.

Lou is at work on The Genius Writer, a textbook/CD series, and is currently re-issuing her novels (Mail-Order Mate and others) and writing short stories: “The Prosecutor” for the anthology Romancing the Pages, “Atlas Shrugged Again” on Amazon, and “Cora Lee,” currently under submission. A graduate of Chapman University with a bachelor’s in English (emphasis in creative writing), Lou also has a master’s in English from Cal State Long Beach.
