Lugene Rosen
Lugene Rosen is a writer, teacher, and reference librarian. She has a BA in English, an MA in literature, an MFA in creative writing from Chapman University as well as an MLIS from San Jose State University. Her short stories and poetry have appeared in The Nocturnal Lyric, Calliope, and Reflections of Light. She is a rabid fan of all things pop culture and has presented papers at The National Pop Culture and American Culture Conference in San Antonio, the Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Conference in Albuquerque, and the Northeast Popular Culture Conference in Dartmouth. Two of her presentations have been expanded into papers that have been accepted into anthologies: “A Culture of Necrophilia: The Rise of the Undead in Film” and “Who’s Your Daddy: Father Trumps Fate in Supernatural.” Currently, she keeps busy teaching English for Coastline Community College and working as a part-time reference librarian for Chapman University.
