In addition, she has appeared in print ads, commercials, film and television. She is an American Rhythm Dancesport competitor, popular Salsa Cardio instructor, and is co-author and performer in Welcome to the Multicultural World of dance sport, a dance program designed to foster knowledge of fine arts in children. Adrienne was also Editor of the Dancezine, a publication of the Dance Resource Center of Greater Los Angeles. She has written a book, Strrr-ike!!, which gives you a delightful on and off the field look at her father, Emmett Ashford, the first black umpire in Major and Minor league baseball. There are two versions of this insightful book …. one for adults and one for children.
