Christina Acosta Short
Christina Acosta Short lives in Riverside with her husband, dogs, and cat. She received an M.F.A. in creative writing in 2000 and an M.A. in English in 2003, both from Chapman University. She has published freelance articles in Inland Empire Magazine, several poems in literary journals across the United States, and a chapbook, Zoanthropy, from Laguna Poets Series #183 at The Inevitable Press. She currently teaches English composition at Riverside City College, Norco College, and Chaffey College. When she is not teaching, Christina is working on a book-length manuscript of poetry entitled Everything in Pulchritude. Aside from writing, her favorite activity is reading. She would ideally spend her life reading classic literature all day on a picnic blanket in a cherished park, preferably Central Park in New York City or any of the various parks in London, England. As quoted from one of her favorite authors, Oscar Wilde, ???With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy????
