Lynda A. Hall
Lynda A. Hall is an Assistant Professor of English at Chapman University in Orange, California. She earned her Ph.D. in English at Claremont Graduate University. Her research primarily focuses on nineteenth-century British literature, with a special interest in Jane Austen, the English Gothic novel, and the interaction of terror, traumatic memory, and literature. She has published papers Nineteenth-Century Gender Studies, Persuasions, and will have a paper in the upcoming edition of Eighteenth Century Novel. She is currently working on a book about Jane Austen and value (Working title: Sense, Pride and the Market Economy: Tracing Value in Jane Austen’s Novels.)
