Mark Levin
Mark Levin’s latest book, Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America, debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. In it, he explores the psychology, motivations and history of the utopian movement, its architects and its modern-day disciplines—and how the individual and American society are being devoured by it. President Ronald Reagan warned that “freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” Levin agrees, and with Ameritopa, delivers a book described as a “modern political classic, an indispensable guide for America in our time and in the future.”
Levin’s previous books, Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, Men in Black: How the Supreme Court is Destroying America and Rescuing Sprite: A Dog Lover’s Story of Joy and Anguish were also New York Times and national bestsellers.
As one of America’s preeminent conservative commentators and constitutional lawyers, Levin has appeared on hundreds of television and radio programs. His own, nationally syndicated talk-radio show, “The Mark Levin Show,” has 8.5 million listeners.
Levin was a top advisor to several members of President Ronald Reagan’s Cabinet—including serving as Chief of Staff to the Attorney General of the United States. In 2001, the American Conservative Union named Levin the recipient of the prestigious Ronald Reagan Award.
He currently is president of the prestigious Landmark Legal Foundation in Washington, D.C., a public interest law firm that litigates in matters involving, among other things, the Constitution, free enterprise and school choice.
During his appearance at Chapman, President Jim Doti will be presenting Mr. Levin with the Presidential Medal for Distinguished Contributions to the Cause of Freedom and Liberty.
A book signing will follow the lecture, with copies of Ameritopia available for purchase.
